While I wish the best for Próspera, I think that Ciudad Morazán has a better chance for success because it uses an innovative concept that doesn't copy anyone and is based on what already exists in Honduras--maquilas and a workforce eager for a better life. There are demands for a better industrial regulatory framework, more entrepreneurial opportunities, and a safe, low-cost environment for working-class Hondurans. While it also appeals to foreigners, the most important value propositions are to Hondurans, so it doesn't need worldwide migration or direct foreign investment to be successful.
